Following an earlier career in the Horticultural scene in both the Bay of Plenty and South Auckland, orchard management and ownership taught him exceptional organisational and time management skills, I have found my niche in sales and marketing. Introducing Gary Gore
I have lived in the Mount and papamoa area for over 55 years. I attended all the schools from Omanu Primary through to Mount College. I joined the Royal New Zealand Navy and served 8 years engineering and diving on the frigates HMNZ Otago and HMNZ Waikato. After returning to New Zealand and spending a few years Engineering, in 1991 I embarked on my new career in Real Estate and have found this to be an exciting and rewarding profession, which quickly became my passion.
My Real Estate career covers 24 years selling property in the Mount and Papamoa areas. I qualified as an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand in 2003 and served 5 years on the Waikato/Bay of Plenty District Committee of the Real Estate Institute.With my wealth of experience and local knowledge, I can give you the assurance of the very best service when selling or buying a property. A warm hello to those who do not know me, here is some information about me.I have recently joined a fabulous team at marketrealty. I believe real estate company’s fees have been too high for a long time, so I am delighted to be able to offer selling fees at only 1.95% + gst.
In 1989, I arrived in Tauranga and purchased, Wrightcars Toyota, changing the name to, Tauranga Toyota, which is now Pacific Toyota. The 10 years I spent as Managing Director of the company I really enjoyed. Prior to moving to Tauranga, I finished up as, General Manager for Wrightcars, in Wellington. Spending a total of 15 years for the company.
Unfortunately, I was forced to sell my company due to ill health and spent 2 years recuperating. During the 2 years, I was introduced to real estate and simply loved the business. Since then I have spent the last 15 years, working in real estate with companies like Professionals, Colliers and then LJ Hooker. This profession gives me real pleasure being able to deal with happy people and making all those involved lives better.
My passion is golf. Upon arriving from Wellington I spent 3 years on the Omanu Golf Club Board and then moved on to spend 6 years on the board at Mount Maunganui Golf Club, enjoying every minute, as I am very much a people’s person.
Jude, my better half and 3 hairy kids, Millie, Caspa and River assist me whenever they can, by delivering those horrible flyers, everybody hates, putting out signs, plus welcoming me home at night with licks and tails wagging.
